CHINA
Oklahoma adoptive dad with his infant daughter adopted from ChinaAlthough it is extremely difficult for me to express in words how the world opened up to me and my heart and life was filled with insurmountable love for my blessed baby Zoe, I can tell you that not a second goes by that I am not eternally grateful to the gift of a thousand lifetimes that we have been given.  I pray that in some way, some how, some day, Zoe's biological mother could see how much she has blessed us and filled our lives with joy.  Everyone wants to change the world.  International adoption is a pretty good place to start!

KOREA
Indiana adoptive family with their birth son and son adopted from South KoreaWe are Pete and Amy Ybarra.  We have two beautiful boys, Sam (age 7) and Quinlan (age 2).  Quinlan came to us through the wonderful world of adoption.  We adopted Quinlan from Korea and brought him home two years ago in July 2004.  We feel so blessed to have him in our family.  We struggled with infertility for many years and then chose to adopt.

We chose Dillon International because of the very personalized care and attention we received from their staff.  All of our fears and concerns were addressed BEFORE we could even ask the question "What if ?"

Dillon's care and concern for your family doesn't stop after you get your child home.  The on-going support and the programs that they offer are fabulous.  There truly is not another agency like Dillon out there that could give us the "family" feeling we ere looking for.

We feel very blessed and honored to have a son from Korea and are very thankful to all the Dillon staff for making our journey to bring Quinlan home an easy one.  Good luck in your journey!

Texas family who adopted a son from South KoreaOur family came to international adoption through God's divine plan.  We had a fantastic son by birth and wanted more children.  After several years, we realized our family would be built through adoption.  We researched many agencies before hearing about Dillon International from another Dillon family.  Based upon their glowing report, we attended a Dillon workshop.  We walked out of our first pre-adoption workshop in January of 2000 knowing Dillon was the agency for us.  We have since completed two Korean adoptions.  The agency is not just an agency, but an extended family!  They are truly committed to their families for life.  We even named our youngest son Dillon.

Missouri family who adopted three children from South Korea waving American flags

My name is Kathy Argent and my husband Guy and I have adopted 3 beautiful children from Korea.  After 10 years of infertility, we truly felt God leading us to adopt.  We had no idea the blessing He would give us when we began our journey.  Dillon International has become part of our family.  They have been with us along each adoption and are here with resources to help with our concerns or questions now.  I love being an Area Representative because it gives me the opportunity to share our story, help other families along their journey and to give back to Dillon International.  Dillon International is a wonderful agency with loving and supportive people that only want to help families come together.

Korean-American family who adopted a son and a daughter from South KoreaWe chose Dillon International both as our agency for adoption as well as an agency that we choose to volunteer and support.   Dillon as an agency embraced us and helped make our adoption journey a wonderful life-changing experience.   Dillon as an organization that our family volunteers for and supports is one whose mission to 'help better the lives of orphaned children' is a mission that is aligned with our family's mission and ministry.   Our family has received abundant blessings by becoming a Dillon Family!

Korean adult adopteeHi!  My name is Michelle, and unlike most other area representatives, I am an adoptee.  I wasn't even adopted through Dillon, but you could say that I adopted the agency.  Dillon is a wonderful organization, and the people who work there are like family.  As an adoptee, I can tell you that you won't find quality post-adoption services like the ones Dillon offers elsewhere.  At 14 years old, I started going to Dillon's heritage camps.  I was in Dillon's first Discovery Weekend group--there were only five of us back then!  I have also been able to visit Korea three times with the agency.  Words cannot express my gratitude to the folks at Dillon.  I can't begin to tell you how much they've helped me bring balance, confidence, and overwhelming love into my life.  At this point, I won't be able to share any personal experiences on the process of adopting, but I can tell you what helped me growing up as an adoptee.  If you have any questions, please visit my website at http://michellesherwood.blogspot.com.  Good luck!

GUATEMALA

Missouri adoptive family with their two birth sons and daughter adopted from GuatemalaWe decided to add to our family through adoption after watching a documentary about the plight of orphans around the world.  We chose Dillon International after researching several different agencies and countries.  We were impressed with their reputation, and they offered an adoption program from the country we were interested in.  Throughout our process we found Dillon to be understanding, helpful, and friendly.

INDIA

Michigan adoptive family with their two daughters adopted from IndiaWhen God called us to adoption in 2000 we knew we wanted a daughter from India.  The challenge was finding the right agency to help us.  After a thorough investigation we chose Dillon International.  From the first phone call to the India program caseworker, we knew that Dillon was a cut above the rest.  Throughout our process, they were supportive, informative and knowledgeable.  They got answers to our questions and held our hands through the wait.  They united us with the most precious gift . . .our darling daughter.

Three children later, we are still impressed with Dillon International.  Their post-adoption services are awesome.  Even after the child is home, Dillon continues to extend a hand of support to adoptive families through their chat lists, cultural camps or just answering an adoption-related question. Adoption is a journey of a lifetime and it's great to know Dillon International is along for the ride with you.

My husband and I thought long and hard about adoption, as it was not the path through which we initially assumed our family would be born.  We are a bicultural couple already and had great concerns about providing a strong cultural identity for our children to be.

When we decided to adopt from India, my husband's country of origin, we began to research the available programs with some apprehension, as we were getting an impression that adopting a child from India was difficult, if not impossible.

The first time I spoke with Dillon International, I must have stayed on the phone for 1.5 hours asking hundreds of questions!  They were not only happy to answer my questions, but they were also kind, patient and most of all, extremely knowledgeable about the changing adoption politics of India.  We felt secure in their hands and have never looked back.  We adopted our daughter in 2005 and our son just came home in 2007.  We've had two amazing journeys to India and were fortunate enough to spend ample time at the orphanage, truly understanding and appreciating the level of care and support our children are provided.  Dillon has been supportive throughout our journeys and I would (and do!) recommend them to any family considering international adoption.
