Dillon
International is very pleased to announce that Debbie
Wynne, M.S. Ed., LCPAA, became our new Director of Texas
Adoptions on a part-time basis effective October 16,
2008. In addition,
Bobbie J. Hale, LMSW, who has been a contract home study
provider with Dillon since 1998, joined the Dillon TX
Office as the Assistant Director. Both ladies will
oversee all adoptions for Dillon International in
Texas. We think you will be very pleased with the level
of adoption expertise both Debbie and Bobbie have to
offer to Texas families as well as their commitment to
maintain the same level of confidentiality and care for
families
that you have come to expect.
Photos and bios on both Debbie and Bobbie will be
posted here soon, so that Texas families can get more
acquainted with our new staff.

Angels from Abroad
Seventeen
precious children between 7- 13 years of age from 3
orphanages in Saint Petersburg, Russia, arrived
safely this past Friday in Dallas and are now having
a life-changing experience with their host families
across the state of Texas. All is well so far, Praise
God! They will be here just over two weeks for a
fun-filled summer vacation. During the time the
children are here, we hope to raise awareness about the
need for people to consider older child adoption since
we know older children in the U.S. and around the world
are often the forgotten ones. Our hope and prayer is
that these children will eventually be adopted!
It has been
fun to see previous Angels, who have been adopted
through this program, want to come to the Angels events
to serve as translators and also see their friends from
the orphanage where they once lived. What a sense of
comfort and hope it gives the visiting children!
