Q-
How do I perform a search?
A - All you
will have to do is enter the word or sentence that you are looking for and
click on the submit button. Once your results are displayed, you can do
another search to expand or narrow your existing search or add a new one.
The options you can click on are "Exact String," "All Words," or "Any Words." Your results
will be displayed below.
Q-
How do I perform an advanced search?
A - The
advance search tool will help those that need specific information find
what they are looking for fast. With the advanced search feature you can
query your message board for exact strings, any words in search box, or
all words. In addition to terms you can search by date, between dates, or
even by poster.

Q-
How does mail notification work?
A -
First
you can choose how you would like to receive your email(html or text).
With our email notification you can read the entire post in your email
along with links to respond or view the post online. You can also choose
how to be emailed. You can choose to receive your email on every post
and/or one of the following digest options: Once(1X) a day (12am),
Twice(2X) daily (12am, 12pm), Four(4X) daily (12am, 6am, 12pm, 6pm).
Some like people like to monitor posts as they are posted and yet like
to read the entire days post in their mail at their convenience.

Why am
I asked for a login name and password when I try to submit my photo?
The most
common reason for this error is the size of the photo. Photos that are
taken with newer digital cameras or scanned in at a high resolution are
maximized for printing but entirely too large for uploading to a
website. When a very large photo is uploaded through our form (over 1
mb), the system often prompts for an administrator's login and
password.
If you
receive this error, please re-size or crop your photo so that it fits
under the allowed 128kb.

Q-
What will changing my layout do for me?
A - To date
all message boards are designed and the layout is set by
administrators/owners. On the web today you have 2 basic styles of
message boards (inline and threaded). There are different flavors with-in
these categories. For example with threaded boards there can be two or
three levels. A basic threaded board will have a primary post and all its
replies within or under the original (parent post). With LiveBoards your
administrator can choose between two styles of threaded boards. These
choices are the basic threaded model or the threaded with bump feature.
What the bump feature will do is post the last topic replied to,
regardless of the date of creation of thread. The advantage of this is
keeping hot topics on top and not so hot threads will slowly fall down the
list. The inline version will display messages descending (most recent to
less recent). Many high traffic sites with one arena use this style. The
inline model will display messages in the order of their post. With the
inline style you can see if the message was original or a reply. When
reading a reply you can from that post jump directly to the post it was a
reply to. When viewing a post you can also view all replies by clicking on
this message has x replies [View Them]. Your View (layout) can be
changed to your preference. This is a feature that is unique to your
LiveBoards Message Board. Now you can view a board in a way that you find
right for you!
