At Dillon, we absolutely encourage every adoptive family to take their children back to their land of birth at least once.  On our China tour families will get to experience not just the Chinese culture but also have some time with other adoptive families.
We focus on small travel groups, so that each tour can be geared towards what each traveling families desires.  With less people in the group we are able to see more and do more than larger travel groups are in the time frame the group is in China.  Allowing the adoption professional travel on each tour to give all participant the support and focus they need.  We want you to focus on your family, so we make sure that each tour is escorted with a person to make sure things run smoothly.

When families adopt internationally, they are becoming an international family, so a birthland tour should be a family affair and a very natural and normal event.

As your children grow, they will encounter social expectations that they have visited their birth country and know some of its language, and your child will experience great pride and satisfaction from those accomplishments.

A birth country visit is a life-changing trip where one revisits the past, celebrates the present and anticipates the future. Plus, it’s a whole lot of fun.

Our Visit China tour is scheduled during the summer so that kids won’t miss any school during this life-changing trip.

A sneak peek at the tour itinerary is on the left. By the way, local guides and a social worker will be with you the entire time to lead the group, translate and help you through the emotions of an orphanage visit.
