The Board of Directors of Dillon International is pleased to announce the appointment of Meredith Miers as Director of Development. Meredith is a native of Tulsa. She is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma where she earned a B.A. in Journalism and an M.B.A. from the Price College of Business. Before joining Dillon International, Meredith’s work in institutional development has focused on securing major gifts and grants to support education programming for children, biomedical research and capital improvement projects. She brings to Dillon International a broad range of experience in institutional advancement, development, and community engagement of other long-established Oklahoma charitable organizations including Philbrook Museum of Art, Oklahoma Medical Research Foundation, (OMRF), and the Tulsa Historical Society & Museum. Meredith will focus on developing and furthering relationships with foundations, corporations and individuals to foster support for Dillon International and its programs.
“It is a wonderful opportunity to join Dillon International in this role, and help achieve greater support for the organization and everything it does for others. I have found Dillon to be an organization where every person in its leadership and staff is wholeheartedly committed to its special mission. That combined with proven generosity of its supporters will continue to expand benefits for children and families in Oklahoma and throughout the United States in adoption, lifetime services and programming. Their support will also enable Dillon International to increase its significant humanitarian aid efforts for the benefit of children throughout the world.”
