Guatemala Heritage Tour

At Dillon, we absolutely encourage every adoptive family to take their children back to their land of birth at least once.

When families adopt internationally, they are becoming an international family, so a birthland tour should be a family affair and a very natural and normal event.

As your children grow, they will encounter social expectations that they have visited their birth country and know some of its language, and your child will experience great pride and satisfaction from those accomplishments.

Visit Guatemala Tour Includes

  • Small travel group, for individualized attention (10–20 people)

  • Hotel accommodations (based on double occupancy)

  • Airport transfers

  • In-country transportation during the tour

  • Two or one meal per day

  • Admission fees to scheduled events

  • Hands-on cultural learning experiences

  • Professional, English-speaking guides

  • Tour staff with adoption experience and sensitivity

  • Resources and orientation to help you prepare for your journey
